Operaton Good Neighbor 2004
Volunteers of America Bay Area will kick off its annual Operation Good Neighbor Holiday Food Basket program on Saturday, December 18th, to provide food baskets to seniors, disabled persons and disadvantaged families throughout the Bay Area during the holiday season. Volunteers & Donations Needed!

Through the 2003 Holiday Season

Christmas Volunteer Challenge
We are asking that each Volunteer donate (friends too) their car, truck, boat or R.V. during the month of November 10, 2003 until December 12, 2003, with some of the proceeds enabling VOABA to "Adopt a Family" for Christmas!  The Volunteers that will generate the most vehicle donations during this time period will join VOABA in selecting 5 families, and presenting them each with a check for $200.00!! Getting the Word Out is held annually in March. This program gives non-profit agencies the opportunity to educate themselves on ways of influencing the media through interactive and one on one session with media professionals. Hosted annually by Mark Curtis, Anchor, and Channel 2 News.
