Action Team Captains

Date/Time Commitment: One Saturday a month
Volunteers of America Bay Area is recruiting High School students to become Action Team Volunteers. If you are involved in your community and would like to recruit others to make a difference, Action Team is for you! Volunteers of America Bay Area coordinates monthly volunteer opportunities and Action Team Captains recruit Action Teams from their community to help out. As a reward for all the hard work, Captains are eligible to apply for a scholarship (Jrs and Srs)and meet MLB players.

Volunteer Receptionist and Greeter
Location: 1601 Harbor Bay Parkway, Ste. 150, Alameda, CA 94502
Date/Time Commitment: 2-3 days a week, 8:00am-Noon and 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Volunteers of America Bay Area is looking for 2 or 3 highly motivated volunteers to act as our greeters/receptionists. How would you like to say you've worked for a nationally renowned organization that makes a real difference in people's lives? Are you friendly, helpful, calm and enjoy working with the public in a professional setting?

Development Intern/Volunteer

Date/Time Commitment: 2-3 days a week for 2-3 hours each day. The term of the internship is 6 months.
